This is very out of date! See www.ishepherd.co.uk for more up-to-date information. I am a student at Hereward College in Coventry, England, studying for an A-level in Maths and a GNVQ Advanced in Information Technology. In September 1999 I will be off to university to do Computer Science with Business/Management - hopefully at The University of Warwick, A-level grade permitting. My main interest is computing, particularly the user interface. I program in Visual Basic and have written printback!, a system for remote printing to a LaserJet over the telephone. I'm starting to learn C++. Of late I have done a lot of programming in Access and Visual Basic for Prompt Computers, developing systems for their clients such as Fortress Wastecare and PR Sales and Marketing. I listen to a lot of different music on CD and to the CBSO at Symphony Hall, Birmingham. I play the piano (mostly Schubert at the moment) and the double bass. Before enforced retirement on grounds of age, I was principal bass of the National Children's Orchestra (shame - no link available). You can e-mail me at ishepherd@ishepherd.co.uk, or visit my home page www.ishepherd.co.uk. This is my first website, so I would appreciate feedback. |
