The font is seventeenth century. Originally it was at the other end of the building, but it has been moved here, fitted with electricity, and set into the floor - we hope it will become a music desk for singers.

The font was the only part of the church's fabric to survive the many years in which the church went unused - everything else having been smashed or burnt by vandals, or removed for 'safe-keeping' by various people...
